Howard Brown Health Center (HBHC) was founded in 1974 and is now one of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQIA) organizations. Rooted in LGBTQ+ liberation, Howard Brown Health provides affirming healthcare and mobilizes for social justice. We are agents of change for individual wellbeing and community empowerment.

Broadway Youth Center (BYC) is a safe haven for LGBTQ+ youth and young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability, offering integrated healthcare and social services to anyone ages 12 to 24.

The Potocsnak Family Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine provides comprehensive services to adolescents and young adults. We accept new patients between 12-22 years of age. All patients are followed until their 25th birthday.

 
  • Multidisciplinary services are achieved through:

    —> Linkage to care, case management, behavioral health and dental care.

    —> Providing education and prevention services through our Sexual Health Department.

    —> Establishing collaborative partnerships with community and faith-based organizations.

    Including, but not limited to free HIV testing, PrEP (HIV prevention), treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections, Hepatitis B & C care / treatment and FibroScan.

    We also provide comprehensive, wrap-around services that include outpatient primary care, mental health, substance abuse, individual & group therapy, medication adherence, outreach/prevention and case management services for people living with HIV
